I first read Dolly Alderton when I read 'Good Material' and I loved that book so much that I chose to read this book next. It was disappointing compared to 'Good Material'. I love an agony aunt column which is why I give it 2.5 stars, but I can't justify any more. Alderton worked as a columnist in The Guardian on the "Agony Aunt" section, responses to which she has compiled together in this book. To me, the book felt quite lazy. I don't have a subscription to this newspaper and hadn't heard of her column before, so I don't know whether she fleshed out her answers in order to write this book or whether they were kept the same.
